CONNIE VICK, PARTNER, ART ADVISOR

Connie Vick, B.F.A, M.F.A, founded Vick Art Advisors in 1985 in Philadelphia, PA. Connie formed a partnership with her daughter, Claudia Vick, in 2000 and relocated the business to New York City. Prior to becoming an art consultant Connie owned and operated the fine art gallery Vick Gallery of Fischbach and taught college level art appreciation courses. Connie also served as a consultant and board member to Artstar.com, an online fine art site based in Vancouver.

CLAUDIA VICK, PARTNER, ART ADVISOR

Claudia Vick, B.F.A, has been a partner at Vick Art Advisors since 2000.  She has extensive experience curating and project managing complex, large-scale, corporate and institutional art collections for a wide range of clientele. Most recently Claudia oversaw the Comcast Technology Center fine art program which featured over 40 site specific installations throughout the Norman Foster designed tower in Philadelphia. The artworks all centered around various themes in support of the Comcast initiatives central to their brand. A full overview of the project can be seen here. Another career highlight includes curating a collection of over 1,000 images and artifacts from the New York Times archives in their Renzo Piano designed offices on 8th Avenue. She was also the co-founder of Artflicks Inc. which produced short subject, fine art documentaries like Swiss Re Film. Claudia received her B.F.A from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

TARAH L. COOKE, ART ADVISOR

Tarah Cooke, BA, MA, has worked at Vick Art Advisors since 2006. As a key member of the team, Tarah is highly skilled at project development and management of client relations. She received her BA in Art History in 2005 at New York University, where she also minored in Business and French. She holds an MA in Contemporary Art from Hunter College with a concentration on art biennials. Her focus on biennial artists has led her to conduct statistical research identifying influential artists emerging from large-scale global exhibitions. In 2009, she participated in the 1st Gwangju Biennale International Curator Course.

LUCY CASEY, OFFICE/LOGISTICS MANAGER

Lucy Casey has worked as Office and Logistics Manager at Vick Art Advisors since 2007 and oversees all daily operations within the company. Previously, she worked as the General Manager of Lexington Black & White Labs, a print and photo processing firm catering to Fine Art photographers, art galleries, ad agencies and publishing companies. Her responsibilities include ensuring effective operations, communications and reporting practices throughout the accounting, administration and production departments.
